I just finished playing through Darkfate, a French minimalist exploration platformer, and I thought that it was amazing. It tells a pretty interesting story about an amnesiatic main character who wakes up in the mountains confused and weak. I don't really want to say anymore about it for fear of spoiling it since most of the fun is in the way the story is told. Just go play it, it will take you about 45 minutes.
(it's the second link by the way)
If you don't have time for that today, then do yourself a favor and go play Small Worlds. This is another minimalist exploration platformer and it tells an equally interesting story. You wake up alone on a space station and proceed through four levels that gradually reveal themselves as you explore them, constantly zooming out so that you always see everthing that you have revealed all at once. It is a really cool effect as you realize the scope of each level. This one will only take you about 5 minutes to complete and it is well worth it.
